Volkswagen’s lighting system is very effective since its early years. In these cars the safety is taking priority. As the name Volkswagen (people’s car) says – this car is not really made for car enthusiasts. It will usually provide great convenience but this car is made to be cheaper and safe.

Fog Lights-no need to bother about poor visibility

Safety is the most important concern that must be kept in mind while driving your car. For this it is decisive that you have a clear view of the road ahead. Driver's life is risked by many factors while driving but low visibility on the roads is one of the main aspects which cause a high number of road accidents.

Fog lights are the lights fitted with cars and they are manually switched off or on by driver in the case of poor visibility caused by heavy rain, fog or snow. It also increases the visibility of car behind or in fronts because a fog light in cars are much brighter or sharper than the regular flood light of cars and it is even more intense than brake light. When traveling through fog, it is necessary to drive cautiously and be alert. In foggy conditions, the level of danger rises especially if the rainfall is quite thick and visibility is near zero. Thus, fog lights are necessary when you frequently drive through a foggy area.

Nowadays, there are various upgraded versions of fog lights available in the market. When we talk about the HID fog lights, these lights are much brighter than other and offer excellent visibility during foggy conditions. By doing so, it ensure great safety of the driver and other sitting in the car. These lights are also known as Xenon fog lights.

Apart from these, the yellow color is the most used color in the fog driving light; fog bulbs of purplish color are also in great use these days as these are very bright too. These lights use many different minerals to function, including mercury, halide and sodium. Halogen fog lights are also in common use today as they have a propensity to give a tighter beam in comparison to glowing fog lamps, which gives in an added benefit. 1. Wheel barrows; hold you child's legs up and straight and they can walk around the house/garden on their hands. Initially it might be very hard so only do it for a short time. Let your child down to rest and try again. As time progresses your child will be able to do more and more. Once they get better you can leave balls or toys around to walk to and pick up. They can put each item they pick up into a bucket or box. Do not strain your child's back. Make sure their back is not concaving. They need to lift up their bottom so they are protecting their back.

2. Using light weights (1-2kg max) your child can do arm curls. Hold the weights down by the side fingers facing forward. Keep elbows by the side and slowly lift weights up and then slowly bring them down. This should be slowly and in control. The faster it is done the more likelihood of hurting themselves and there is no benefit by doing it fast. Do this 8-15 times depending on your child and 3 repetitions. As your child gets stronger you can increase the amount.

3. Using the weights again. Hold weights with elbows bent by your shoulders, with fingers facing in towards their face. Lift arms up above head until arms are straight and back down to shoulder position. Do 8-15 times and 2 x repetitions. Again, increase as child gets stronger and make sure this is down slowly and in control.

4. Using a whiteboard marker or non permanent marker draw on a mirror or glass window/door. Make a lying down '8'. "

This exercise is called "Lazy Eights". Then draw a straight line above and below the 8. The child has to follow the 8 around and around making sure to touch the top and bottom line so that 8 stays in the correct formation. It needs to be drawn large enough so that your child can comfortably move their arm around. It also needs to be at the height of your child's arm when they are standing up and putting arm out straight. Do this in both directions and try with non writing arm too. A fun way to do this is to use shaving cream on an outside window or wall. They can then clean it up using a cloth moving arms in a circular motion....also good for arm strengthening.

5. Using a Swiss Ball (any brand) approx size 50-65cm. The child lies on floor. Hands bent by their side for support, head and chest is up. Legs bending so knees come towards face. Feet are flexed. Adult throws ball at child's feet. Child then pushes ball away using legs and both feet evenly and adult catches ball. This is lots of fun and great for the stomach muscles. Try to do 15-25 of these. Increase as child gets stronger.

6. Using a swiss ball again. Child lies on stomach on top of ball. Parent holds legs out and straight. Child then lifts top half of body upwards with arms straight up above head. The child holds this position for as long as possible holding stomach muscles tight. After about 20 seconds or so child releases down but adult keeps legs up. Child lifts up again. Do this 4-6 times and increase as child gets stronger. This is great for stomach and back muscles.

These are fun, great, safe exercises that you can do on a daily basis. They are fun and you will see a difference in your child's strength if you are consistently doing the exercises. Remember choose 3 to do each day and rotate them. The best way to do it is to do 2 stomach and 1 arm exercise each day. If your child complains of sore tummy muscles...that means they are getting stronger. It is OK to give a rest over the weekend or if life is busy at least attempt to do them 3-4 times a week.

Of late there has been a surge in sales of Hyundai i10 cars in India. Wonder why? Very recently, ARAI named the Hyundai i10 as the most fuel-efficient car in its segment. This car's mileage figure of 19.81 kmpl has beaten all other petrol cars in the compact segment in India. For a country like India which is obsessed with mileage what can be more alluring than a vehicle delivering outstanding fuel economy figures coupled with the environmentally friendly feature? No wonder, the Hyundai i10 is India's top selling car in the over 1-litre capacity segment of cars.

Ever since the car's global debut of the car in India, it has been selling like hot cakes. The discounts that Hyundai has been offering are catalyzing the sales. The i10 has been seeing a huge demand in the overseas markets as well. The BS IV compliant 1.2 litre Kappa engine just makes sales better by the day in India. Add to the mileage, a quick shifting 5-speed manual transmission and front-wheel-drive configuration and you'll realize how well this masterpiece can perform.

During the last financial year, 149,242 units of the Hyundai i10 were sold just in the Indian car market. It later came to light that this car had actually broken all earlier records and had become the highest selling model in the over 1 litre of capacity segment.

The i10 has a relatively short wheelbase that lets it rotate like a star. Yes, the ideal turning radius allows for swift maneuvers. A McPherson Strut suspension in the front and CTBA with coil springs in the rear hold the car firm enough to ply easily on the Indian roads. Steel wheels with tubeless tyres; another feature that the i10 proudly flaunts. So, that only means that there's no skidding even on the slippery Indian roads when it rains and there's no place for water to escape.

Coming to the design, this sub-compact car has a chic and aerodynamic design. The car's contemporary styling also takes one's memories to the likes of the Ford verve concept and the new Chevy Aveo U-VA. The low slung grille with two large headlamps on the edges, however, makes the i10 look different from the competition. The sharply raked windscreen and ellipsoidal glass are very impressive too.

The Hyundai i10 has enough space to comfortably accommodate 5 adults. The seats also have sufficient legroom, knee support and adjustable headrests for added neck support. Dual Tone Beige Interior features 3-spoke steering wheel that makes handling easy and agile.
